Now you can switch from your current SSL Certificate provider. If you hold a valid certificate or have a valid SSL Certificate currently installed on your web site you can qualify for our Competitive Upgrade option.

Regardless of whether your certificate is due for renewal or not - you should consider switching for FREE. We only issue Single Root SSL Certificates, the most trusted type of SSL Certificate available.

We'll provide you with a new 12 month RapidSSL® certificate if you switch from your current provider.

Our online ordering system will check that you have a competitors SSL Certificate by either connecting to your web server and reviewing your installation, or by allowing you to provide your certificate during the ordering process for automated verification.

It is recommended that you backup any existing certificates whenever you begin a new installation.

Our ordering system is completely automated. You'll need to choose the Competitive Upgrade option from the product selection section of our ordering system.

We will automatically attempt to connect to your web server to verify that you are entitled to a free or discounted certificate. You should, where possible, leave your current SSL Certificate in place so the automated system can check your web server.

You will also have the opportunity to provide your existing SSL Certificate for validation, however, in some cases we must still connect to your web server to verify the validity of the certificate.

If we are unable to validate your existing certificate you will be unable to use the Competitive Upgrade ordering option.
